Scientific communication
Scientific communication is of central importance to the University of Cologne: it creates awareness for new discoveries, places research results in a broader context and strengthens confidence in the science system through public dialogue. At the same time, it accompanies science critically and questions developments with regard to their ethical and social effects. In doing so, it meets the legitimate demands of society and politics to learn more from research.
ZADIK sees itself as a cultural institution in which the contexts of art are made visible through the archive holdings. For this purpose, knowledge transfer and scientific communication are essential components.
In addition to the changing exhibitions at ZADIK and external special shows, interviews, photographic series and essays in the publication series sediment provide insights into the history of art.
Via contributions of knowledge transfer and online publications on research topics, ZADIK's academic blogs aim to focus and communicate themes of art market research. They serve as platforms for the exchange of information and are designed as long-term publication media.
Lectures, panel discussions, talks and symposia complement the scientific activities of ZADIK by providing a communicative format that actively supports the dialogue with the public and networking with institutions and scientists.
On its social media platforms, ZADIK informs about subjects related to the institute, exhibitions or events and invites the public to participate in the latest developments.
